Sri Lanka has more national parks than any other South Asian country relative to its size, and most travellers visit only one. This journey takes in five — Wilpattu, Minneriya, Yala (Blocks 1 and 5), Udawalawe and Bundala — with private vehicles, sunrise drives and the country's most experienced naturalist throughout.
Between parks you sleep in the country's best tented camps and forest lodges, with a midpoint stop at Sigiriya for the cultural relief of sunrise on the rock.
